Top two floors of the new Shriners Hospitals for Children are dedicated to medical and surgical services for ocular diseases and eye disorders as the University of Kentucky's College of Ophthalmology and Advanced Eye Clinic.

The newly renamed UK Advanced Eye Care occupies the top two floors of Shriners, providing 50,000 square feet of space for medical and surgical services for ocular diseases and eye disorders. The fourth floor contains general ophthalmology, cornea, glaucoma, neuro-ophthalmology, oculoplastic and retina specialists. The fifth floor houses pediatric ophthalmology, optometry and UK HealthCare Optical, a full-service optical shop with a wide selection of eyewear, contact lenses, accessories and repair/adjustments,
